పరిణతి చెందిన నాయకత్వమేనా ఇది?..

ఈ రాష్ట్రంలో పరిణతి చెందిన నాయకత్వ లోపం స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తోంది.. ఎవరికీ విశాల దృక్పథం లేకుండా పోయింది.. ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్రం కావాలని తెలంగాణ వాదులు కోరుకోవడం ఎంత సహజమో, రాష్ట్రం ఒకటిగా ఉండాలని సమైక్యవాదులు కోరుకోవడం అంతే సహజం.. ఎవరి కారణాలు వారి ఉన్నాయి.. ఇరు ప్రాంతాల రాజకీయ నాయకులు, ప్రజలు నిలువునా చీలిపోయారు..

పరిస్థితులను మొత్తం మీద బేరీజు వేస్తే తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం ఏర్పాటు చేయక తప్పని పరిస్థితి ఏర్పడింది.. ఐదు దశాబ్దాలుగా రగుతున్న సమస్యను ఇంకా ఏమాత్రం వాయిదా వేయలేని స్థితి వచ్చేసింది.. సహజంగానే రాష్ట్ర విభజన అన్నప్పడు రాజధాని, వనరులు, ఆస్తులు, అప్పులు తదితర పంపకాలు సహజం.. ఒక హైదరాబాద్ విషయమే కాదు, చాలా విషయాల్లో అంతిమ పరిష్కారం చూపాల్సిన అవసరం ఉంది.. రాజకీయ పార్టీలు నాయకులు, కార్యకర్తలు తమ ప్రాంతాల ప్రజల ఆకాంక్షలు, వత్తిళ్ల మేరకు తెలంగాణ, సమైక్యాంధ్రల పేరిట విడిపోయి తగాదాలకు దిగడాన్ని తప్పు పట్టలేం.. పీత కష్టాలు పీతవి అన్నట్లు వారి సమస్యలు వారికి ఉన్నాయి..

 ఇలాంటి పరిస్థితిలో ప్రధాన పార్టీల అధినాయకులు ఏమి చేయాలి?.. అందరి ప్రయోజనాలు కాపాడే పరిష్కారం దిశగా ఆలోచించాలి. తమ కేడర్ ను ఒప్పించి, మెప్పించే విషయంలో దృష్టి పెట్టాలి.. కానీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి కిరణ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి(కాంగ్రెస్) ప్రతిపక్షనేత చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు(తెలుగుదేశం) చేస్తున్న పనేమిటి?.. వారు విశాల ప్రయోజనాలను మరచిపోయి ప్రాంతీయ కోణంలో ఆలోచించే దుస్థితికి వెళ్లిపోయారు.. వారి రహస్య ఎజెండాను ఇప్పుడు చాలా స్పష్టంగా బయట పెట్టుకున్నారు..

తెలంగాణ ఏర్పడితే సీమాంధ్రకు ఎదురయ్యే కష్ట నష్టాలను ఏ విధంగా ఎదుర్కోవానే విషయంలో పరిష్కార మార్గాన్ని చూపాల్సిన నాయకులే ఇప్పడు ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్రం ఏర్పడకుండా అడ్డు తగిలే ప్రయత్నాలు చేయడం దారుణం.. రాష్ట్ర విభజన సమయంలో పెద్ద మనిషి పాత్రలో హుందాగా నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకోవాల్సిన సీఎం కిరణ్ కుమార్, తమ పార్టీ నాయకత్వ అభిమతానికే వ్యతిరేకంగా ప్రాంతీయ దృక్ఫథంతో మాట్లాడిన తీరు ఆశ్చర్యం కలిగించింది.. పైగా ఆయన మాట్లాడిని విషయాల్లో చాలా వరకు అవాస్తవాలే ఉన్నాయి..

కాంగ్రెస్ అధిష్టానం రాష్ట్ర విభజన ప్రకటన చేయగానే టీడీపీ అధినేత చంద్రబాబు చాలా హుందాగా స్పందించారు.. సీమాంధ్ర రాజధాని ఏర్పాటు కోసం ప్రకటించిన దానికన్నా రెండు మూడు రెట్లు అధికంగా ఇవ్వాలని డిమాండ్ చేయడంలో ఎలాంటి తప్పులేదు.. కానీ సీమాంధ్ర ప్రయోజనాల ముసుగులో తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రాన్ని అడ్డుకునే పనులకు ఆజ్యం పోయడం దారుణం.. చంద్రబాబు ఒకవైపు తెలంగాణకు కట్టుబడి ఉన్నామని స్పష్టంగా చెబుతుంటే, ఆ పార్టీ సీమాంధ్ర ఎంపీలు పార్లమెంటులో సమైక్యాంధ్ర నినాదాలు చేయడం, సీమాంధ్ర ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, నాయకులు తమ జిల్లాల్లో తెలంగాణ వ్యతిరేక ప్రదర్శనలు జరడం వెనుక ఆంతర్యం ఏమిటి? ఈ ద్వంద్వ వైఖరిని కప్పి పుచ్చుకోవడానికా అన్నట్లు స్వయంగా చంద్రబాబు ప్రధాన మంత్రికి రాసిన లేఖలోని అంశాలు ఆయన అంతర్ముఖానికి, ద్వంద్వ విధానాలకు అద్దం పడుతున్నాయి..

భగవంతుడా.. ఈ ఇద్దరు అధినాయకులకు పరిణతిని, విశాల దృక్పథాన్ని ప్రదర్శించే సద్బుద్ధి ఇవ్వాలని, ఇరు ప్రాంతాల ప్రయోజనాలను కాపాడబడాలని కోరుకుంటున్నాను..

నరేంద్ర మోడీ: సమయం వచ్చింది

 భారత ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థ కలల జట్టు - డాక్టర్ మన్మోహన్ సింగ్, డాక్టర్ మాంటెక్ సింగ్ అహ్లూవాలియా, పి. చి చిదబరం విషాదకరమైన స్థితిని తెచ్చిపెట్టింది. ద్రవ్యోల్బణానికి, నిరుద్యోగం పెరుగుదలకు, రూపాయి విలువ పడిపోయే స్థితికి ఈ జట్టు గత పదేళ్లలో దేశాన్ని నడిపించింది. గత పదేళ్ల యుపిఎ ప్రభుత్వం ఆర్థిక వినాశనాన్ని తెచ్చి పెట్టింది. నాయకత్వ లోపం, అధికారయంత్రాంగం పనిచేయకపోవడం, దిశానిర్దేశం లేని నిర్ణయాలు, జవాబుదారీతనం లోపించడం, సమగ్రత నైతికత లోపించడం వంటి కారణాలతో సహజంగానే దేశ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థ కుప్ప కూలింది. పదేళ్ల క్రితం దేశం అగ్ర రాజ్యంగా ఎదిగే దిశగా పయనిస్తూ ఉండింది. ప్రపంచ దేశాల్లో అగ్రగామిగా నిలబడేందుకు సిద్ధపడింది. ఇప్పుడు పూర్తిగా నిరాశానిస్పృహల్లోకి జారిపోయింది. భారత పునరుజ్జీవానికి అవసరమైన విశ్వాసం, ఉత్సుకత, కాంక్ష ఆవిరైపోయాయి. 

 

ఈ స్థితిలో ఓ వ్యక్తి ముందుకు వస్తాడు. ఇటువంటి స్థితిలో సమర్థుడైన నాయకుడు వస్తాడని చరిత్ర చెబుతోంది. ప్రజలను కూడగట్టే, కఠిన సమస్యలను పరిష్కరించే, తీవ్రమైన ఒత్తిడిరలోనూ, అస్థిరతలోనూ సంక్షోభాలను నివారించగలిగే సమర్థులైన నాయకులు వస్తుండడం చరిత్రలో చూస్తుంటాం. ఢిల్లీలోని మృత్యుప్రాయమైనవాటిని తుడిచిపెట్టడానికి నరేంద్ర మోడీ రూపంలో గుజరాత్ నుంచి పెను గాలి వీస్తోంది. మోడీ జాతీయ తెర మీదికి రావడం అకస్మాత్తుగా ఒక్క రోజులో జరిగింది కాదు. మాతృభూమి సేవకు జీవితాన్ని అంకితం చేసి, క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో శ్రమించి, దశాబ్ద కాలం పాటు సమర్థవంతమైన నాయకత్వాన్ని, పాలనాదక్షతను మోడీ అందిస్తున్నారు. నరేంద్ర మోడీ: సమయం వచ్చింది.

 

 

 ప్రగతి, పనితీరు.. 

 

వారసత్వ ప్రాతిపదికపై ఎన్నికల్లో పోటీ చేయడానికి టికెట్లు జన్మహక్కుగా భావించే కాంగ్రెసు, చాలా ప్రాంతీయ పార్టీల్లో మాదిరిగా కాకుండా మోడీ పనితీరుపై మాత్రమే ఆధారపడి ప్రసిద్ధి చెందారు. అత్యంత అంధకారంలో కూడా గుజరాత్ ఆయన నాయకత్వ సమర్థతతో ఆశారేఖగా ముందుకు వచ్చింది. గుజరాత్‌లో భారతదేశంలో మాదిరిగా కాకుండా చాలా విషయాలు సక్రమంగా సాగుతాయని ప్రపంచ ప్రఖ్యాతి గాంచిన ఎకనమిక్ మ్యాగజైన్ వ్యాఖ్యానించింది. భారతదేశం జనాభాలో గుజరాత్ జనాభా ఐదు శాతం మాత్రమే. కానీ దేశంలోని పారిశ్రామిక ఉత్పత్తిలో 16 శాతాన్ని, ఎగుమతుల్లో 22 శాతాన్ని గుజరాత్ అందిస్తోంది. గత దశాబ్ద కాలంగా గుజరాత్ వృద్ధి రేటులో రెండంకెల ప్రగతిని కొనసాగిస్తూ వస్తోంది. వ్యవసాయ రంగంలో దేశం 3 శాతం వృద్ధిరేటు సాధించడానికి కొట్టుమిట్టాడుతుంటే గుజరాత్ నిలకడగా 10 శాతం వృద్ధి రేటును సాధిస్తోంది. మోడీ సమర్థమైన, స్థిరమైన చర్యల వల్ల కార్మిక సమస్యలు నామమాత్రంగానే ఉన్నాయి, అత్యాధునిక మౌలిక సదుపాయాలు ఏర్పడ్డాయి, నిరంతరాయంగా విద్యుత్ సరఫరా జరుగుతోంది, అధికార యంత్రాంగం సహకారం లభిస్తోంది. వ్యవసాయం, తయారీ, సేవా రంగాల్లో అత్యద్భుతమైన ప్రగతి సాధించిన విషయాన్ని వ్యాపారులు గుర్తించారు. దాంతో సహజంగానే దేశాన్ని ప్రస్తుత సంక్షోభం నుంచి బయటపడేయడానికి మోడీ వైపు చూస్తున్నారు. తాను సాధించిన విజయాల కారణంగా పరుగు పందెంలో మోడీ అగ్రభాగాన నిలిచాడు. 

 

 క్లీన్ ఇమేజ్.. 

 

అవినీతి దినసరి చర్యగా మారిన ప్రస్తుత తరుణంలో మోడీ వ్యక్తిత్వ సమగ్రత, నిజాయితీ నిలబడుతుంది. గత కొన్నేళ్లుగా మోడీ వ్యక్తిత్వం, పనితీరు, పెరుగుదల నమూనాలపై విశ్లేషణ జరిగింది. ఏ నాయకుడిని తీసుకున్నా, రాజకీయాల్లో, మీడియాల్లో పరిస్థితిని చూసినా వారందరి కన్నా నిజాయితీగా గన నాయకుడిగా మోడీ ముందుకు వస్తారు. ఆయన విమర్శకులు, రాజకీయ ప్రత్యర్థులు కూడా మోడీపై అవినీతి, కుంభకోణాల మచ్చలేదనే విషయాన్ని అంగీకరిస్తారు. ఇటీవలి వికీలీక్స్ వివాదాలు, అమెరికా దౌత్యపర కేబుల్స్ వెల్లడిలో ప్రతి నాయకుడి పేరు కనిపించింది, వారి వ్యక్తిత్వాలు ప్రశ్నార్థకమయ్యాయి. కానీ మోడీ పేరు మచ్చుకైనా లేదు. మోడీ పేరు కేబుల్‌లో వందసార్లైనా వచ్చి ఉంటుంది. కానీ ఒక్క వ్యతిరేక వ్యాఖ్య కూడా లేని నాయకుడిగా దేశంలోనే కాదు, ప్రపంచంలోనే మోడీ నిలిచాడు. భారత రాజకీయాలు కుటుంబ వారసత్వానికి, బంధుప్రీతికి నిలయంగా మారిన స్థితిలో దేశంలోని అతి సంపన్నమైన రాష్ట్రానికి ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా ఉన్న మోడీ కుటుంబం రెండు పడకగదుల ఇంటికే పరిమితం కావడం చూస్తాం. 

 

ఆర్థిక నిశితదృష్టి 

 

భారతదేశానికి సంబంధించి ఓ నానుడి ఉంది - ఉత్తమ రాజకీయాలు ఉత్తమ ఆర్థికవ్యవస్థకు సంబంధించినవి కావు, ఉత్తమ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థ ఉత్తమ రాజకీయాలకు సంబంధించింది కాదు. ఇదంతా ఎందుకంటే - వచ్చే ఎన్నికలను కింద మీదా పడి ఏదో విధంగా గెలుచుకోవాలనే రాజకీయ పార్టీ, ఫలితాలు చూపించడానికి ఏళ్లు తీసుకునే ఆర్థిక విధానాలపై దృష్టి పెట్టదు. కఠినమైన, దార్శనిక నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకునే రాజకీయ ఆకాంక్ష లోపం వల్ల మన ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థ పతనమవుతోంది. యుపిఎ ప్రభుత్వం చేపట్టిన వ్యవసాయ రుణాల మాఫీ, ఎన్ఆర్ఇజి వంటి పథకాల వల్ల ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థ తీవ్రంగా దెబ్బ తిన్నది. కొత్తగా ఆ ప్రభుత్వం చేపడుతున్న నగదు బదిలీ పథకం, ఆహారభద్రత బిల్లు కూడా ఆ దిశలోనే సాగుతాయి. వచ్చే సాధారణ ఎన్నికలను దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకుని వాటిని యుపిఎ ప్రభుత్వం చేపడుతోంది. ఆర్థిక క్రమశిక్షణ ఎవరికి పడుతుంది? అమలుకు తగిన మౌలిక సదుపాయాలు లేకుండా, చేపట్టే ఆ పథకాలు ప్రభుత్వ ఖజానాకు భారం కావడమే కాకుండా లబ్ధిదారులకు ప్రయోజనం కూడా కల్పించలేవని విధాననిర్ణేతలు కూడా అంటున్నారు. స్వల్పకాలిక ప్రయోజనాలను పక్కన పెట్టి కఠినమైన, ప్రయోజనసహితమైన నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకోవడమే నాయకుడికి పరీక్షగా నిలుస్తుంది. ఆ రకమైన ప్రదర్సనను మోడీ గుజరాత్‌లో ఎల్లవేళలా చూపించారు. 2001 నుంచి తన పాలనలో మోడీ ఎప్పుడు కూడా ప్రజాకర్షక పథకాలకు తావు ఇవ్వలేదు. ప్రతికూలంగా కనిపించిన 2012 ఎన్నికల్లో ఆయన కొన్ని ఉచిత హామీలు, సబ్సిడీలు ఇచ్చి ఉంటే మరిన్ని సీట్లను మోడీ గెలుచుకుని ఉండేవారు. కానీ ఆ మార్గాన్ని ఆయన ప్రతిఘటించారు. మోడీ ఎల్లవేళలా దీర్ఘకాలిక పెరుగుదలను, ఉపాధిని, జీవనశైలి మెగురును దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకుని పెట్టుబడులను సృష్టిపైనే దృష్టి కేంద్రీకరించారు. స్వల్పకాలిక రివార్డులు ఆకర్షణగా నిలిచిన సమయంలో అటువంటి చర్యలు చేపట్టడానికి నాయకుడికి ఎనలేని ఆత్మవిశ్వాసం, క్రమశిక్షణ ఉండాలి. ఓటు బ్యాంకు కోసం తలపెట్టన ఆహార భద్రతా బిల్లును ఎదిరించే ధైర్యం మోడీ తప్ప మరొకరు చేయడం లేదు. 

 

మాస్ అపీల్.. 

 

మోడీ మాత్రమే కేంద్రంగా మారి, ప్రతి ఒక్కరినీ తనతో నడిపించుకునే వెళ్లే గుణం లేదనే విమర్శకు గురువుతుంటారు. ఆ విమర్శ పూర్తిగా తప్పు, పక్షపాతంతో కూడిందని ఇటీవలి హైదరాబాద్ ర్యాలీని గమనిస్తే అర్థమవుతుంది. తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమాన్ని పరిష్కరించడానికి కాంగ్రెసు తీసుకున్న అవకాశవాద చర్య వల్ల తెలంగాణ, సీమాంధ్ర ప్రాంతాల్లో ఉద్రిక్తతలు పెరిగాయి. రాష్ట్రంలోని ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ తీవ్రమైన వైఖరిని తీసుకున్నారు. తెలంగాణ సీమాంధ్ర పేరు ఉచ్చరించే సాహసం కూడా ఓ ఒక్క రాజకీయ నాయకుడు చేయలేని పరిస్థితి ఉంది. విద్వేషాలను విడనాడి, అభివృద్ధికి భుజం భుజం కలిపి నడవాలని మోడీ సీమాంధ్ర సోదరులకు విజ్ఝప్తి చేశారు. హైదరాబాద్ గడ్డ మీద నిలబడి తెలంగాణ, సీమాంధ్ర ప్రజలు యావత్తూ హర్షించే విధంగా మోడీ మాట్లాడారు. దీనికి అమేయమైన రాజకీయ ధైర్యం కావాల్సి ఉంటుంది. దాన్ని మోడీ ప్రదర్శించారు. 

 

ప్రగతి పథం.. 

 

 మోడీ సాధించిన ఒక విజయం దేశాన్ని వోటు బ్యాంక్ రాజకీయాల నుంచి ప్రగతి రాజకీయాల వైపు నడిపిస్తుంది. ఎన్నికల్లో విజయం కులం లేదా మతంపై ఆధారపడి ఉండడమనేది భారతదేశ ప్రజాస్వామ్యం పెద్ద లోపం. అన్నింటికన్నా కులం లేదా మతం విజయానికి మూలకారణమవుతోంది. అభ్యర్థి ట్రాక్ రికార్డు, వ్యక్తిత్వం అప్రధామవుతున్నాయి. అటువంటి సంకుచిత మనుగడలను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకోవడాన్ని మోడీ దూరం పెట్టారు. గత పదేళ్ల కాలంలో కుల ప్రాతిపదికను ఎన్నికల్లోకి తీసుకుని రాలేదు. గత ఐదేళ్ల కాలంలో ప్రభుత్వం ఏం చేసిందనే ప్రాతిపదిక మీదనే గుజరాత్‌లో ఎన్నికలు జరుగుతాయి. పైగా, తన ప్రభుత్వాన్ని, విధానాలను తిరుగులేని పరీక్షకు, విమర్శకు, చర్చకు పెట్టడాన్ని ఆహ్వానించారు. ప్రతి సామాజిక, అభివృద్ధఇ సూచికను వెలికి తెచ్చి, విశ్లేషించడానికి అనుమతించారు. అటువంటి విధానాలకు భారత ప్రభుత్వం పూనుకుని ఉంటే దేశపరిస్థితి మరో విధంగా ఉండేది. సమర్థతతో కూడిన దేశభక్తి భారతదేశం బయటి నుంచి లోపలి నుంచి తీవ్రమైన భద్రతా ముప్పును ఎదుర్కుంటున్న ప్రస్తుత తరుణంలో సంకుచిత రాజకీయ ప్రయోజనాలు పక్కన పెట్టి కఠిన నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకునే నాయకుడి అవసరం ఉంది. క్షేత్ర స్థాయిలో ఏం జరుగుతుందనే విషయంపై కచ్చితమైన, వాస్తవిక దృక్పథం కలిగిన నాయకుడు కావాలి. అది రక్షణ బలగాలకు సమర్థమైన రాజకీయ మద్దతును సమకూరుస్తుంది. ప్రజల్లో అది స్ఫూర్తిని అందించి ప్రేరణను ఇస్తుంది. ఈ విషయంలో మోడీని మించిన నాయకుడు లేదు. 

 

ప్రస్తుత అవసరం.. 

 

దేశ భద్రత, విదేశాంగ విధానం, ప్రభుత్వాన్ని కుదించడం, సాధికారితను సాధించడం, ఎన్నికల సంస్కరణల అవసరం వంటి అన్ని విషయాలపై మోడీ అనర్గళంగా అవగాహనతో మాట్లాడగలరు. మిగతా నాయకులతో పోలిస్తే మోడీకి దృక్పథం, ఆశ ఉన్నాయి. కఠిన శ్రమ, కృతనిశ్చయాలతో ఆ మామూలు పిల్లవాడు గుజరాత్ ప్రజల మనసులు దోచుకున్న నాయకుడిగా మోడీ ఎదిగారు. ఈ విషయంలో కాంగ్రెసు తీరు గర్హనీయమైంది. చాయ్ వాలా, స్టాల్ వర్కర్ వంటి పేర్లతో పిలుస్తూ కాంగ్రెసు, అది పెంచి పోషించిన జర్నలిజం మోడీ నేపథ్యం గురించి మాట్లాడడం ఆక్షేపణీయమైంది. నిజానికి, మామూలు స్థాయి నుంచి అత్యున్నత స్థాయికి ఎదగడానికి అవకాశాలున్నాయనే విషయంలో స్ఫూర్తిగా నరేంద్రమోడీ ఎదిగారు. అది అత్యంత గర్వకారణమైన విషయం. భారతదేశాన్ని అర్థం చేసుకోవడానికి కెమెరా సిబ్బందితో కామికల్ యువరాజు గ్రామాలు తిరుగుతున్నారు. 43 ఏళ్ల వయస్సులో కూడా అతను భారతదేశం వాస్తవ సమస్యలను అర్థం చేసుకోవడానికి ఆందోళనకు గురువుతున్నాడు. 

 

రాజకీయ ప్రత్యర్థులు, వివక్షాపూరితమైన మీడియా, స్వార్థ ప్రయోజనాలు గల ఎన్జీవోలు, కుహనా మేధావులు వేటకు గురైన బాధితుడు మోడీ. అటువంటి నిరంతర విషపూరిత, వ్యక్తిగత ప్రచారానికి మరొకరైతే కుప్పకూలిపోయి ఉండేవారు. మోడీ తన వ్యక్తిత్వం ద్వారా, నిబద్ధత ద్వారా మోడీ మరింత బలాన్ని సమకూర్చుకుంటూ, మరింత కృతనిశ్చయంతో ముందుకు సాగుతున్నారు. రాజకీయం మారుతోంది. దేశం ఎదుర్కుంటున్న సమస్యలకు సమాధానం కోసం భారతీయులు ఎదురు చూస్తున్నారు. స్వతంత్ర సంస్థలు దేశవ్యాప్తంగా నిర్వహించిన పలు సర్వేల్లో నరేంద్ర మోడీ అత్యంత ప్రజాదరణ గల నాయకుడని తేలింది. మరో నాయకుడు ఆయనకు దరిదాపుల్లో కూడా లేడని ఆ సర్వేలు తేల్చాయి.

Addressing the Nava Bharata Yuva Bheri at Hyderabad’s Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium, Shri Narendra Modi wonderfully laid down his Mantra on the ideal ethos a Government should embrace. In a speech that showcased aspiration and celebrated the power of good governance Shri Modi said, “A Government has one religion- India first! A Government has one holy book and that is the Constitution, the Government must be immersed in only one Bhakti- Bharat Bhakti, the Government has one strength and that is Jan Shakti. Their only ritual is the well being of the 1.25 crore Indians and the code of conduct of the Government should be ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.”

Shri Modi affirmed that development is the solution to all the problems. He said that the Congress refuses to walk on the path of development because they cannot answer the people. “Congress has done nothing inclusive, it has only excluded people,” affirmed the Chief Minister. Shri Modi described the atmosphere of the nation is one that dreams of a “Congress Mukt Bharat” and added that the farmers, youngsters and the poor are determined in making this a reality. Paying tributes to former Andhra Pradesh CM Shri NT Rama Rao, Shri Modi stated, “When I come here, I remember NTR. He did one big thing for the nation- he gave a strong boost to anti-Congress politics. It was due to him that a non-Congress Government became a reality in New Delhi.” He went on to say, “I appeal to all parties here. What can be the best tribute to him and to India? It is a Congress Mukt Bharat. The TDP has NTR’s legacy, they must fulfill his dream.” The Chief Minister called for anti-Congress forces coming together to bring an end to dynasty politics, corruption and misgovernance. He avowed that one family has ruled the nation for most of the sixty years but has failed to do anything for the common man and woman.
  

Shri Modi talked at length about the good governance initiatives of NDA and other non-Congress states and criticized the lack of development under the UPA. He questioned why the Central Government refuses to bring back black money into the nation when a leader of the stature of Shri LK Advani ji embarked on a Yatra for it. Shri Modi went on to say, “There is no trace of efforts to enhance skill development in Andhra Pradesh. You do not like Gujarat but see what Dr. Jayalalithaa has done in Tamil Nadu. Dr. Raman Singh showed the way in giving food to the poor in Chhattisgarh. Even the Supreme Court lauded him. How to start a movement to give dignity to the girl child, go to Madhya Pradesh under leadership of Shivraj ji to learn that. See the Ladli Lakshmi Yojana.”

Giving instances of the mismanagement of the Congress, Shri Modi shared that he once asked the Prime Minister to call a meeting of all states that are on coastal areas to discuss how we can strengthen the economy by spearheading the development of coastal areas but what has instead happened is that the price of the Rupee against the Dollar has touched the age of the Finance Minister, when it was equal when we attained Independence. He recalled that earlier scholars from across the world came to India to study but now even our students are going overseas to study. He said this is not only a brain drain but also a drain of finances as these students have to pay exorbitant fees for their education. Likewise, he commented on the shortage of doctors saying that while our country produces enough medicines, it lacks those who can prescribe it. He shared that the maximum farmer suicides are actually in Congress ruled states most notably Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. “All of this- the lack of food, clothing, shelter is due to the Congress and to change this we need to walk on the path of development,” affirmed the Chief Minister. He described the Congress a party immersed in votebank politics, which empties the coffers before elections with the sole aim of getting maximum votes. 

Commenting on the issue of the division of Telangana, he made it clear that the BJP is committed to Telangana and that it stands for the development of both the Telangana and Seemandhra regions. The growth of one region should not be at the cost of the other. He recalled that when Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee carved Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand and Jharkhand out of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar respectively, there were celebrations both in the new state as well as in their parent states but the Congress has divided brother from brother. He opined that there is no question of the milk of the mother being divided. Shri Modi reminded the people that the Congress promised Telangana in 2004 but despite giving the most MPs to the Congress, it gave nothing back to the people of Andhra Pradesh. He asked the Congress why they did not begin work for a new capital ten years ago when they promised Telangana that time.

He shared that there are 4 lakh Telugu families living in Surat and over 6 lakh Telugu families living in Ahmedabad and that they are living peacefully in Gujarat with the people of the state. “If we can do this, why cannot the people of Andhra and Telangana life peacefully?” he asked.

Shri Modi attacked the UPA on the trust deficit that has emerged in the nation over the last decade. He cited the meek response of the UPA when our soldiers where beheaded and on the issue of the Italian marines to illustrate the manner in which the UPA has made India cut a sorry figure on the global stage. Referring to the ongoing violence in Kishtwar Shri Modi questioned the manner in which the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Shri Arun Jaitley was prevented from going there, raising doubts whether the Government wants to hide something.

During the public meeting Shri Modi sought the blessings of a freedom fighter and the octogenarian mother of an NRI who requested on Twitter that his mother wishes to hear Shri Modi speak in Hyderabad. He said these are experiences he will never forget in his lifetime.  The Chief Minister congratulated the Andhra Pradesh BJP for using this public meeting for raising funds for Uttarakhand flood relief and congratulated the youth who contributed to this endeavour.
Earlier, passionate speeches were made by former BJP President Shri Venkaiah Naidu, Andhra Pradesh BJP President Shri G Kishan Reddy and former Union Minister Shri Bandaru Dattatreya. Shri Naidu affirmed that in every corner of the country people are saying that the Congress must go and Shri Narendra Modi must lead. He added that the nation is chanting Modi, Modi, Modi and so is the Congress, which is getting sleepless nights now. Shri Kishan Reddy exposed the untrustworthy nature of the Congress Party and assured that BJP will ensure all round development of all regions of Andhra Pradesh. Shri Dattatreya expressed his desire to see a BJP PM unfurl the Tricolour at the Red Fort next year. A record number of people came to hear Shri Modi speak at the public meeting.

హైదరాబాద్: యుపిఏ ప్రభుత్వం ఓటు బ్యాంకు రాజకీయాలు చేస్తోందని  బీజేపీ ప్రచార కమిటీ సారధి, గుజరాత్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి నరేంద్ర మోడీ విమర్శించారు. ఎల్ బి స్టేడియంలో ఈ సాయంత్రం జరిగిన  నవభారత యువభేరీ బహిరంగ సభలో ఆయన ప్రసంగించారు. గాంధీ, వల్లభాయి పటేల్ పుట్టిన ప్రాంతం నుంచి తాను వచ్చినట్లు తెలిపారు. దేశం ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితుల నుంచి త్వరలోనే బయటకు రావాలని కోరుకుంటున్నట్లు చెప్పారు.  కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి, కాంగ్రెస్ కు సద్బుద్ధి ప్రసాదించమని దేవుడిని ప్రార్ధిస్తున్నానన్నారు.  కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వంపై ప్రజలకు నమ్మకం పోయిందన్నారు. దేశ ప్రజలు కాంగ్రెస్ నుంచి విముక్తి కోరుకుంటున్నారని చెప్పారు. విదేశాల్లో ఉన్న నల్లధనం తీసుకురావడానికి ఈ ప్రభుత్వానికి ఇబ్బంది ఏమిటని ప్రశ్నించారు. సామాన్యుడికి మేలు చేయడంలో ఈ ప్రభుత్వం విఫలమైందన్నారు.

గత 15 రోజులుగా జరుగుతున్న సంఘటనలు దేశంలో చర్చనీయాంశమవుతున్నాయి. అయిదుగురు జవాన్లను పాకిస్తాన్ సైన్యం హతమార్చింది. పాకిస్తాన్ పెట్రేగిపోతున్న ప్రభుత్వం నిమ్మకునీరెత్తినట్లు కూచుంది. ఇంత జరుగుతుంటే ప్రభుత్వం ఎక్కడ ఉందని దేశం మొత్తం ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేస్తోందన్నారు. జమ్మూలో మత ఘర్షణలు అమానుషం అని పేర్కొన్నారు. పాకిస్తాన్, బంగ్లాదేశ్ నుంచి చొరబాట్లను అడ్డుకోలేకపోతున్నారని, సరిహద్దు రేఖల వెంట భద్రతాలోపం ఆందోళన కలిగిస్తోందన్నారు. చైనా సరిహద్దుల నుంచి సైన్యాన్ని వెనక్కు రప్పించడం దౌర్బాగ్యస్థితిని తెలియజేస్తుందన్నారు.

ఆంధ్ర, తెలంగాణ ప్రజలు సోదర భావంతో మెలగాలన్నారు. గుజరాత్ మాదిరిగా ఆంధ్ర, తెలంగాణలను అభివృద్ధి చేయాలన్నది తమ లక్ష్యం అన్నారు. అన్నదమ్ముల్లాంటి మీ మధ్య కాంగ్రెస్ మాదిరిగా తాము చిచ్చు పెట్టం అని చెప్పారు. రాష్ట్రంలో ఒకరినొకరు తిట్టుకునే పరిస్థితి కాంగ్రెస్ కల్పించిందన్నారు. విభజించు పాలించు అనేది కాంగ్రెస్ విధానం అన్నారు. ఓట్ల కోసమే కాంగ్రెస్ ఇప్పుడు తెలంగాణ ప్రకటించిందన్నారు. 2004లోనే ఎందుకు తెలంగాణ ప్రక్రియ ఎందుకు మొదలుపెట్టలేదని మోడీ అడిగారు. తెలంగాణ ఎంత ముఖ్యమో, సీమాంధ్ర కూడా అంతే ముఖ్యం అన్నారు.

కాంగ్రేసేతర ప్రభుత్వాలు ఏర్పడటానికి ఎన్టీఆరే కారణం అన్నారు. కాంగ్రెస్ నుంచి దేశానికి విముక్తి లభిస్తేనే ఎన్టీఆర్ కు నిజమైన నివాళి అన్నారు.

కుటుంబ సభ్యులు వారించినా వినకుండా ఓ స్వాతంత్ర్య సమరయోధుడు ఈ సభకు రావడం ఆనందంగా ఉందన్నారు.  యువతీయువకులతో స్టేడియం కిక్కరిసిపోయింది. ఈ స్టేడియంలో మీకు స్థలం దొరకకపోయినా నా హృదయంలో స్థానం ఉందని చెప్పారు. ఉత్తరాఖండ్ బాధితుల కోసం విరాళం ఇచ్చినవారందరికీ అభినందనలు తెలిపారు.

Why Narendra Modi should tour Telangana & Andhra now

Recently a close aid of Narendra Modi said after the announcement of Telangana that Modi has nothing left for the new state and should focus on Seemandra Pradesh to make the most of the hurt sentiments of the region. 

 

This is a delusion. In fact, even after the Telangana announcement, Modi has got much vocation in both the regions to take up, and the timing is just to assuage the feelings of the people of Andhra Pradesh.

 

 The mood in Telangana region is jubilant and the feeling in Andhra is of deception. However, the reality is far from truth.

 

 

Nearly 800-plus Telangana youngsters have committed suicide out of sheer frustration on account of nervousness over the delay in announcing the Telangana Statehood. This fact can't be ignored or taken in a lighter vein in the backdrop of celebrations. Thousands of Telangana intellectuals are still in conundrum why Telangana announcement was not made as early as in 2004, as promised by the Congress party but why now just before elections, only after this heavy toll? 

 

Expressly the people are still in grief over the death of over 800 sons of the soil, who seems to have sacrificed themselves for the sake of Sonia Gandhi's son? 

 

KCR's TRS merger deal with Congress party! 

 

There had been a wild speculation on the merger of TRS party with Congress. The deal was ‘you give Telangana, and we merge with Congress'. The same has been reiterated by Kavita, daughter of KCR on Saturday. The very idea of a merger is nothing but murder of democracy. 

 

Once the merger is through, the Telangana state will be left with no viable opposition to the Congress party except with the moderate presence of TDP. As part of a political game, the Congress succeeded in dissipating the Praja Rajyam Party of actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi.

 

As we are aware Chiranjeevi had launched the party with much fanfare on a captivating social justice plank, projecting high ideals of the Mahatma, Mother Teresa, Jyotiba Phule, but badly ended up by meekly surrendering to Sonia Gandhi.

 

 Before people of Andhra could forget this shock, any merger plans of TRS with Congress now, will not be taken by the people of Telangana any more with grain of salt. 

 

This is where the BJP can benefit.

 

Telangana is not a barren land for BJP 

 

 The RSS and the BJP have a strong presence among Telangana people since ages. Karimnagar the Telengana heartland and surrounding districts have strong followers of Sangh ideology. 

 

In 1998 General Elections 4 BJP candidates were victorious and in 1999, 6 candidates were victorious from Andhra Pradesh. Hence what is left to be done is only revitalization at this hour. The timing is apt and just. 

 

The plight of farmers and handloom weavers of Telangana 

 

The Congress party never even made an attempt to address the plight of handloom weavers and farmers in the Telangana region. Over 2,200 farmers committed suicide in Andhra Pradesh alone in the year 2011. The hapless families then were forced to send their children to contract labour work to re-pay debts. The humane angle of their plight needs an urgent succour from a caring heart as the present Congress government is pre-occupied with internal feuds and countering corruption and the YSR Congress (YSRC). 

 

Not all happy with the YSR Congress 

 

Though YSRC leaders have already visited these farmers' families, the Jagan's family commitment is not going down well with the Telangana people. People have also noted Vijayamma, Sharmeela travelling even in election times with a Bible in their hands! Here lies Narendra Modi's opportunity.

 

 Narendra Modi's itinerary can now cover districts of Warangal, Karimnagar, Medak and Nizamabad also. Modi then should interact with common man and demonstrate how Gujarat State has developed under his rule in last decade. Modi can demonstrate how his Jyotigram scheme (uninterrupted power supply to farmers), construction of dams for irrigation, promotion of drip irrigation and how his policies yielded high yields of crops of wheat, cotton, fruits and vegetables. His schemes not only succeeded in preventing farmers from ending their lives, but also ably enhance their living standards too. 

 

Coming to the plight of thousands of hapless weavers of Telangana, Modi can demonstrate how his ‘Navi Gujarat Vastraniti' us helping cotton growers get excellent price for their produce in national and international markets. The Gujarat leader can meet farmers, weavers, Dalits and interact with them down to earth. Also Modi can visit famous Vemulavada Shivakshetram in token of respect of the local traditions. 

 

Countering the communal MIM 

 

 Asaduddin Owaisi of the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) has been indulging in communal politics since decades. Except BJP as usual (to some extent CPI), no other party including Lok Satta could counter him effectively. After the infamous hate speech of Akbaruddin Owaisi , the local Marxist fringe groups particularly the so called revolutionary writer Varavara Rao openly supported Akbaruddin, much to the dismay of Hindu and nationalist hearts. 

 

A short brief of MIM background is necessary to sustain my stand on why Modi should take on MIM? 

 

The MIM was founded in 1927. The infamous Razakars (a private army of over one lakh young Muslims during the partition time in the erstwhile Hyderabad state ) was affiliated to MIM party. The violence they unleashed in Telangana just before Police Action by Sardar Patel, which took many innocent lives can't be ignored in the context of growing communal trends in the present MIM party. 

 

The Congress's alliance with MIM is well known and its silence on MIM leaders' communal utterances haven't gone well with many.

 

Recent poll survey said BJP's share increased from 7% to 13% in Telangana after T-state announcement 

 

In a surprising outcome (though not for the author), the recent OutLook India survey after the Telangana, announcement revealed that 13% preferred the BJP over the TDP. This figure is not insignificant in the backdrop of huge coverage that Chandrababu Naidu got in the local media in the past years. It is high time that the party capitalises the opportunity and who else than Modi can do it for them?

Muslim women send Rakhi to Narendra Modi and pray for his well-being

VARANASI: Gujarat chief minister NarendraModi will soon get a Rakhi sent by Muslim sisters from Varanasi. They themselves prepared the big-sized Rakhi for their Gujarati brother wishing him to lead the nation.

Marking the holy month of Ramzan, a group of local Muslim women prayed for the well-being of Modi at a brief programme held in Lallapura locality on Sunday afternoon. The burqa-clad women associated with Muslim Mahila Foundation (MMF) hailed Modi, describing him as a charismatic leader.

"We want to see Narendra Modi leading the nation as he is a responsible politician with a vision of development," said Nazneen Ansari, the president of MMF, which is a newly formed organization with a membership of about 1000 women. Ansari, a master's degree holder in conflict management from Banaras Hindu University, has been working for the cause of Hindu-Muslim unity and upliftment of Muslim women. She has also translated Hindu religious texts like Ramcharit Manas and Hanuman Chalisa into Urdu.

"We also want to see Modi contesting the 2014 parliamentary election from Varanasi," she said, adding that he (Modi) had shown the path of development in Gujarat, which should be replicated in the whole country. న్యూఢిల్లీ: తెలంగాణ అంశంపై గుజరాత్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి, బిజెపి ప్రచార రథసారథి నరేంద్ర మోడీ కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీకి, యుపిఎ ప్రభుత్వానికి కొన్ని ప్రశ్నలు వేశారు. తెలంగాణపై ముందడుగును స్వాగతిస్తూనే ఈ సమయంలో కాంగ్రెసు, యుపిఎ ఉద్దేశం ఏ మేరకు వాస్తవమని అడగాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని ఆయన అన్నారు. ఈ మేరకు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రజలను ఉద్దేశించి ఆయన ఓ బహిరంగ లేఖ రాశారు. ఆయన ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రజలకు రాసిన లేఖ ఇలా ఉంది.. 

ప్రియమైన ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ సోదరసోదరీమణులకు.. 

 నమస్కారం! హైదరాబాదులో ఆగస్టు 11వ తేదీన జరిగే నవ భారత్ యువ భేరీ బహిరంగ సభలో మీ అందరితో మాట్లాడడానికి ఎదురు చూస్తున్నాను. 

ఈ బహిరంగ సభలో తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ఏర్పాటుతో పాటు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లోని అన్ని ప్రాంతాలకు సంబంధించిన రోడ్ మ్యాప్‌పై నా ఆలోచనలను మీతో పంచుకుంటాను.

 జరిగిన సంఘటనల నేపథ్యంలో చూస్తే గత తొమ్మిదేళ్ల పాటు కాలయాపన చేసి, గత కొద్ది రోజులుగా కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీ తెలంగాణ నిర్ణయం కోసం సాధారణ స్ధాయికి మించి పనిచేసింది. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ఏర్పాటుపై కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీ నిలకడగానూ, పారదర్సకంగానూ వ్యవహరించలేదనేది వివాదరహితమైన వాస్తవం. ఆ విధంగా ఆ పార్టీ, ప్రభుత్వం తెలంగాణ అంశంపై ప్రజలను ఎప్పటికప్పుడు మోసగిస్తూ వచ్చింది. అందువల్ల ఈ సయమంలో కూడా దాన్ని నమ్మడం కష్టమే. 

తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ఏర్పాటుకు అనుకూలంగా బిజెపి ముందుకు వచ్చింది, పారదర్శకంగా వ్యవహరించిందనేది వాస్తవం. 

చిన్న రాష్ట్రాల ఏర్పాటులో బిజెపికి మాత్రమే బలమైన రికార్డు ఉంది. అటల్ బిహారీ వాజ్‌పేయి నేతృత్వంలోని ఎన్‌డిఎ ప్రభుత్వం 2000లలో చత్తీస్‌గడ్, ఉత్తరాఖండ్ (ఉత్తరాంచల్‌గా పేరు), జార్ఖండ్ అనే మూడు కొత్త రాష్ట్రాలను ఇచ్చింది. దీంతో ఈ ప్రాంతంలోని ప్రజల ఆకాంక్షలు మొగ్గలు తొడిగాయి. 

మిత్రులారా, తెలంగాణ హామీతో 2004 ఎన్నికల్లో విజయం సాధించిన కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీ తొమ్మిదేళ్ల పాటు ప్రజల ఆకాంక్షలు, మనోభావాలతో ఆటలాడుకుంది. ఎన్నికలకు కేవలం కొన్ని నెలలు మాత్రమే మిగిలి ఉన్న తరుణంలో తెలంగాణ ప్రకటన చేయడానికి హడావిడి చేసింది. ఇది కాంగ్రెసు పట్టింపు, ఉద్దేశ్యాలపై అనుమానాలను రేకెత్తిస్తోంది. 

వైయస్ రాజశేఖర రెడ్డి నాయకత్వంలో 2004, 2009ల్లో విజయం సాధించిన తర్వాత కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీ ఆయన మరణించిన తర్వాత రాష్ట్రం విషయంలో వెన్ను చూపింది. 2009లో అప్పటి హోం మంత్రి పి. చిదంబరం తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ఏర్పాటు ప్రక్రియను ప్రారంభిస్తున్నట్లు చేసిన ప్రకటనను అకారణంగా వెనక్కి తీసుకుంది. తెలంగాణపై కాలయాపన చేయడానికి కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీ మరో కమిటీని ఏర్పాటుచేసింది. కానీ పాలనాయత్రాంగం స్తంభించడంపై, రాజకీయ హింసపై, దురదృష్టకరమైన తెలంగాణ యువకుల ఆత్మహత్యలపై ఏ మాత్రం పట్టింపు లేకుండా వ్యవహరించింది. దీంతో ప్రభుత్వం ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో పూర్తిగా స్తంభించింది. 

 

బహిరంగ లేఖ: తెలంగాణపై కాంగ్రెసు మోడీ ప్రశ్నలు తెలంగాణ అంశంపై కదలికను స్వాగతిస్తూనే ఈ సమయంలో కాంగ్రెసు, యుపిఎ ఉద్దేశం ఎంత వరకు వాస్తవనేది అడగాల్సిన అవసరం ఉంది.

 కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీకి, యుపిఎ ప్రభుత్వానికి నేను కొన్ని ప్రశ్నలు వేయదలుచుకున్నాను. 

ప్రశ్న 1: భిన్నమైన గొంతులు వినిపిస్తున్న సమయంలో తెలంగాణ అంశంపై మీ సొంత పార్టీలో, ప్రభుత్వంలో, అన్ని రాజకీయ పార్టీల్లో ఏకాభిప్రాయం సాధన కోసం మీరు చేసిన కసరత్తు ఏమిటి? 

ప్రశ్న 2: రెండు రాష్ట్రాల్లో సరిహద్దుల్లో ఉన్నప్పుడు ఉమ్మడి రాజధానిగా పనికి వస్తుంది. అలా కాకుండా, తెలంగాణ మధ్యలో ఉన్న హైదరాబాద్ ఉమ్మడి రాజధాని ఎలా అవుతుంది? స్వల్పకాలానికైనా హైదరాబాద్‌ను ఉమ్మడి రాజధానిగా చేయడం న్యాయసమ్మతం కాదు. దానివల్ల కార్యకలాపాలకు సంబంధించిన సమస్యలు తలెత్తుతాయి. రాష్ట్రం మధ్యలో గానీ, సరిహద్దులో గానీ లేని నగరం ఆ రాష్ట్ర రాజధానిగా ఉండడం ఏ విధంగా ఆచరణ సాధ్యం? 

ప్రశ్న 3: తెలంగాణ నిర్ణయాన్ని స్వాగతించడానికి ఆంధ్ర, రాయలసీమ ప్రజల మనసులను సంసిద్ధం చేయడానికి మీరు తీసుకున్న నిర్మాణాత్మక చర్యలు ఏవి? వారి ఉద్వేగాలను శాంతింపజేసి మీతో పాటు నడిపించడానికి వారికి ఇచ్చిన హామీలేమిటి? "సాంకేతికమైన ప్రక్రియ" తప్ప ప్రజల్లో ఏకాభిప్రాయ సాధనకు మీ "రాజకీయ రోడ్ మ్యాప్" ఏది? 

ప్రశ్న 4: ఇది వరకే ఎన్నో మోసాలకు గురై తీవ్రమైన వేదనకు గురవుతున్న తెలంగాణ ప్రజలకు మీరు ఏం చేయదలుచుకున్నారు? 

 ప్రశ్న 5: చాలా మంది తెలంగాణ యువకులు ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకున్నారు. పెట్టుబడులకు ఆకర్షణీయ కేంద్రమైన హైదరాబాద్ నష్టపోయింది. రాష్ట్ర పరిస్థితి దిగజారింది. అన్నపూర్ణగా పేరు గాంచిన రాష్ట్రంలో వ్యవసాయం దెబ్బ తిని రైతులు ఆత్మహత్యలు చేసుకుంటున్నారు. 

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రజలను సాహసంతో ఎదుర్కోవడానికి బదులు కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీ కమీటిలు, నివేదికలు, నిష్ఫలమైన సంప్రదింపుల మాటున దాక్కోవడానికి ప్రయత్నించింది. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ 2004లోనూ 2009లోనూ పార్టీకి అత్యధిక పార్లమెంటు సభ్యులను గెలిపించినా కాంగ్రెసు అధ్యక్షురాలు గానీ ఉపాధ్యక్షుడు గానీ ఇటీవలి సంవత్సరాల్లో రాష్ట్రంలో అడుగు పెట్టలేదు. కాంగ్రెసు రాజకీయ అవకాశవాదం కోసం కాంగ్రెసు నాయకత్వం ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రజలను డూర్ మ్యాట్‌గా చూసినందుకు క్షమాపణలు చెప్పదా? 

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లోని అన్ని ప్రాంతాలకు అర్థవంతమైన రోడ్ మ్యాప్‌ కోసం బిజెపి సూత్రాలు..

 మేం తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ఏర్పాటుకు కట్డుబడుతాం. అన్ని ప్రాంతాల ప్రజల మనసు దోచుకునే పరిష్కారాలతో రోడ్ మ్యాప్ ఉండాలని మేం విశ్వసిస్తాం. ఒక ప్రాంతానికి రాష్ట్రాన్ని ప్రసాదించడం వల్ల మరో ప్రాంతం ఇబ్బందులకు గురి కాకూడదు.

 ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లోని అన్ని ప్రాంతాల్లోని విశాఖపట్నం, విజయవాడ, గుంటూరు, వరంగల్, కరీంనగర్, ఒంగోలు, అనంతపురం, కర్నూలు, కడప తదితర నగరాలను అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి ఇది సరైన అవకాశమని మేం నమ్ముతున్నాం. అన్ని ప్రయోజనం పొందాల్సిందే. 

 పౌరలందరి హక్కులను రక్షించే రాజ్యాంగాన్ని మేం గౌరవిస్తాం. ఎక్కడ పుట్టినా, ప్రాంతాలతో నిమిత్తం లేకుండా అన్ని ప్రాంతాల వ్యక్తులను, కుటుంబాలను, వ్యాపారాలను, అస్తులను రక్షించడానికి బిజెపి చర్యలు తీసుకుంటుంది.

 ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లోని అన్ని ప్రాంతాల ఆర్థికాభివృద్ధిని సాధించడానికి మేం కట్టుబడి ఉన్నాం. శాంతిభద్రతలు, రాజకీయ స్థిరత్వం, క్రియాశీల విధానాల పాలన మా సొంతం. నదీజలాల ప్రయోజనాలు అన్ని ప్రాంతాలకు దక్కాలి. జలవనరుల పంపకంలో నిజాయితీ, న్యాయబద్ధత, సమానత్వం అవసరం.

 అన్ని ప్రాంతాల్లో నమ్మకాన్ని, విశ్వసనీయతను పెంపొందించడానికి మేం కట్టుబడి ఉన్నాం. దురుద్దేశపూర్వకమైన ఆటలు, మోసాలు ఉండవు. 

పాలనాయంత్రాంగం సరిహద్దుల ప్రభావం పడకుండా అన్ని ప్రాంతాల తెలుగు సాంస్కృతిక వారసత్వాన్ని పరిరక్షించేందుకు మేం కట్టుబడి ఉన్నాం. తెలుగు సంస్కృతికి, ఆత్మగౌరవానికి సరిహద్దులు ఉండవు.

 భాషా ప్రయుక్త ప్రాతిపదికపై ఏర్పడిన రాష్ట్రం విభజనకు గురి కావడం ఇదే మొదటిది కావచ్చు.ఇది ఉద్వేగ భరితమైన సమయం. 

రాష్ట్రం విభజనకు గురైనప్పటికీ ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్ర అవతరణకు ప్రాణాలు త్యాగం చేసిన శ్రీ పొట్టి శ్రీరాములు వంటి అమరవీరులను గౌరవించడానికి తలలు వంచి వందనం చేస్తాం. వారి జ్ఞాపకాల స్ఫూర్తితో అన్ని ప్రాంతాల్లోని తెలుగు ప్రజల ప్రగతికి కృషి చేయడానికి అంకితం అవుదాం.

When in trouble, talk secularism

The Congress will be unsuccessful in its strategy to change the subject from its governance failures
 
The Congress never learns from history. Whenever it is cornered because of its misdeeds, corruption and poor record of governance, it tries to take cover under phoney secularism, because it has no answers. 

When we were active in the JP movement in Bihar in the 1970s, the Congress branded him as a communal leader who kept company with forces out to destabilise India. Some leftist parties even called Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan a fascist. Soon, Indira Gandhi imposed Emergency, arrested the opposition, imposed stringent press censorship and stifled, with brute force, any dissent against her rule. The public justification given was the need to uphold the principle of secularism, though the emergency power was invoked to save her own chair. During the general election in 1977, despite the strong anger of the people, the refrain of the Congress was that only it could save India and defeat communal forces. The Congress faced a washout in north India. When the Bofors issue seriously compromised the leadership of Rajiv Gandhi, the Congress again invoked the secular-communal card in the 1989 Lok Sabha election. Yet it suffered a humiliating defeat. It invoked the same card against the BJP through the '90s, yet it could not stop its rise. Without doubt, the governance record of the BJP-led NDA under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee remains a milestone in the democratic history of India. 

Today, the credibility of the Congress-led UPA is at an all-time low. Corruption, serious deficits in governance, inflation, unemployment, gross mismanagement and abuse of institutions, particularly the CBI, have become the defining features of the Union government. Each passing day reinforces the impression that the Congress-led UPA government is the most corrupt Union government since Independence. We have almost lost count of the scams because they appear with alarming regularity. No one knows when the next scam will explode. But for a strong campaign by the opposition, the media, and interventions by the court, not a single scam would have been fairly investigated by the Congress. 

The Indian economy is at a terminal stage. Except inflation and the fiscal deficit, everything is going down. April's industrial growth figure was revised downwards, from 2.3 to 1.9 per cent. Overall growth may be less than 5 per cent. Even Indians are not investing in India. FDI in retail was pushed through despite strong opposition. After more than 10 months, there is no investment in this sector, either. Infrastructure growth is politics neutral since every party supports it. The NDA had a shining record in this area. Yet the UPA has messed up. Telecom, an important area of infrastructure growth, suffered a serious blow because of massive corruption in the award of licences. The power sector is in a mess because of "coalgate". The national highway programme, another outstanding success story of the NDA regime, is suffering because of massive corruption, delays and lack of transparency. Real estate, another engine of infrastructure growth, is mired in corruption, favouritism and lack of clarity on policy issues. 

The only link between good economics and good politics is good governance, which has become the biggest casualty under the Congress-led regime. Why is it that when the national growth rate has come down to almost 5 per cent, nearly all BJP state governments — Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa — are repeatedly registering 10 per cent plus growth? The obvious answer is good governance. Today, there is a serious lack of trust and a crisis of credibility in the combined leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh. If Indians are reluctant to invest their rupees in India, why will foreigners invest their dollars and pounds? This crucial question is not being answered by the Congress, because they know they have no answer. 

The next election will be fought only on these issues, namely corruption, inflation, rising unemployment, the critical state of the Indian economy, national security and the people's profound sense of disappointment. The Congress knows it has no tangible explanation for its failures, therefore the secular-communal card is being played again. The party has a dubious record on this account. Apart from riots in different parts of the country, the brazen way in which it has sought to shield and bail out the leaders of the Sikh massacre of the '80s is well known. The Congress lacks the moral authority to talk about secularism. 

India is secular because its civilisational and cultural heritage is secular. The India of 2013 is a different India, confident, sure of its strength and a profound human resource, mostly young, aspirational and with a stake in the growth of the country. 

The India of today is looking for an alternative at the BJP and Narendra Modi. Today, he enjoys immense popularity, reflected in various popular opinion polls where his ratings are almost triple Rahul Gandhi's. Congress leaders entertain a pathological hatred of him, though the people of Gujarat have elected him repeatedly. Riots are unfortunate anywhere, and the guilty must be punished. But today there is peace, progress, prosperity and all-round development in Gujarat, where no riots have taken place for the last 10 years. The Congress needs to ask itself what explains his outstanding popularity despite their consistent campaign of calumny. It is his impeccable integrity, exemplary record of good governance and strength of leadership. 


The people of India are yearning for a change. The Congress is raising the same old bogey of the secular-communal divide. It has failed in the past and is bound to fail again.
