Day-19 Telangana Poruyatra


Sri G. Kishan Reddy's Telangana Poru Yatra continued in Nalgonda district on the nineteenth day. He held road shows at Mallepally, PA Palli and Halia. MRPS groups and various student groups heavily attended the meetings.Later in the day, there was a huge gathering at the Miryalaguda meeting.
Desapathi Srinivas, famous poet addressed the gathering and there was tremendous response from the audience. Speaking on the occasion Kishan Reddy said that the issue of flourousis is a bane to the Nalgonda district and all this mess can be attributed to the successive Congress and Telugudesam Governments in the state. He said that poor children are getting paralysed at birth itself and the mother’s breast milk is also carrying the milk with fluoride content in it. Nowhere on the earth does such a pathetic situation arise and he promised the people of Nalgonda that BJP would give full preference to getting the waters of Krishna and Godavari rivers to the district. Sriram Vedire, the national convener of the Water Management Cell of BJP also spoke on the occasion. Later there were impressive road shows at Neredcherla and Garidepalli. People from surrounding mandals attended the meeting and cheered with enthusiasm when Kishan Reddy spoke about how BJP would fulfill the promise of Telangana.

Later there was an impressive meeting at Suryapeta where about 8000 people gathered and waited patiently to hear Kishan Reddy. Desapathi Srinivas and Sriram Vedire also spoke on the occasion. Kishan Reddy said that Suryapata is known for fighting against razakars and he hoped that this fight for justice would continue until Telangana is achieved. Many students thronged all through the road and cheered at Kishan Reddy.
The last meeting of the day was held at Kodada, where even at 11 PM in the night huge crowds awaited to listen to him. Kishan Reddy explained to the people how both Congress and Telugudesam deceived the people of the region and assured them that BJP would fight for the cause till the goal is achieved.
