Day-8 Telangana Poruyatra
Sri G. Kishan Reddy's Telangana Poru Yatra entered into Nizamabad district on the eighth. Before entering into the district, he had a group of sugarcane farmers met him at Medak in the morning and let him know about their pathetic living conditions and asked for his support. 
Kishan Reddy lambasted the central and state Governments for their undue policies on farmers. He said that the Medak sugar factory would be revived to its glory and promised that BJP would always fight for their cause. Then the first meeting of the day was held at NagireddiPeta in Nizamabad district Ellareddy, Pitlam, Banswada, Bhodan, Nizamabad. Huge number of workers from the party welcomed the convoy at this place. There was a huge gathering of 4000 people at Ellareddy where the next meeting of the day was held. BJLP Leader Endala Laxminarayana was also present all through the day. Kishan Reddy while speaking on the occasion said that the then Telugudesam Government has sold away the Bhodan Sugar Factory for a meager amount to private parties. All the employees of the factory became jobless and are living a pathetic life. The Congress Government led by Rosaiah has appointed a sub-committee of MLAs which has given clear recommendations on how to save the employees but the committee recommendations were not implemented so far. He said this shows the Governments negligence towards the factories and employees belonging to the Telangana region. He promised that BJP would stand with the factory employees and fight for their cause.
Later in the day, he addressed huge gatherings at Pitlam and Banswada. Many party workers and people especially youth has gathered in big numbers to support his yatra. In the evening there was a huge public meeting held at Bhodan. JAC leader Sridhar spoke on the occasion and expressed JACs full support to the yatra. Kishan Reddy said that many students on whom cases were booked during the past two years were not lifted as promised by the Union Home Minister. He said that Sabitha Reddy, the Home Minister of AP is from Telangana region should implement the promise made and lift the cases otherwise the people would teach them a lesson in the coming years. He said BJP would lift all the cases on the students and also give them bonus marks in the competitive exams as a token of appreciation for sacrificing their lives towards the cause. He said that fake Gandhi’s are ruling the country and have given away the true spirit of Mahatma Gandhi. These fake people’s fake affection on the Telangana cause is not tolerated anymore and people of Telangana would teach them a tough lesson in 2014.

Later he was received with huge enthusiasm by the Nizamabad town party workers at the entry to the town and was taken in a huge procession through the town.
