Nation yells from all corners: CONGRESS, QUIT POLITICS

people are boud to react thru ballot box

There are four by-election results today from four corners of the country. All four are pointing to a common mood of the divers society that is called ‘India, That Is Bharat’, & that common mood is yelling out, “Congress, Quit Politics & go out of public life of India, Once and for all !”

Over the backdrop of the corruption charges on the Congress led central Govt. & Baba- Anna crusade against black money & corruption, today came the by-election results for a Lok Sabha seat & three assembly seats across the country, which are namely – Khadakwasala in Pune district of Maharashtra, Hissar in Harayana, Daronda (Dist.:Siwan) in Bihar, Banswada (Telangana) in current Andhra Pradesh. Eventually, these places are from the four different corners of the country – East – Bihar, West – Maharashtra, South – Telangana (Andhra Pradesh) & North – Harayana.
The ever rising inflation, most expensive fuel prices of the world, wastage of the grains in the Govt. ware-houses, rising taxation, poor infra-structure, downgrading education system, loosing life-values are the prime concerns of the Indian society. The Congress is failing to address the concerns, & the people are bound to react thru the ballot.
All these places do not bear any similarity regarding the constituent ingredients of the society, their economy, social fabric, educational backgrounds, social ethos, languages etc. But today these constituencies struck a cordial political note with each other, which was un-expected to many political observers. When the result of the by-elections for the respective state assembly seats & a Lok Sabha seat declared today, they took many observers by surprise, as all the results are hinting to a common mood of the people of India across the diversities & the distances apart – and that common mood is clearly ‘Anti Congress’, one must accept.
Although, there are clearly local issues involved in the various deciding factors guiding the voters, the clearly sensed undercurrent is ‘Anti Corruption’. One may argue that the Hissar has an Anti-Congress history for last many elections, but how one can explain the sharp decline in the votes of the Congress there? Despite the rise in the voter turnout, the Congress vote share declined from 25 % in last (2009) Lok Sabha elections to mere 17% ? Even the Congress candidate lost his deposit today.
In Bihar the favorite ‘Anti-Incumbency’ factor of the political observers & journalists did not came to Congress’ rescue, which continued its descent in the political abyss started since last assembly elections. The voters stood firmly behind the NDA regime led by Nitish Kumar & its development agenda.
In Telangana (Andhra Pradesh) the voters could not be lured by the Congress Govt.’s various schemes & announcements. Although, creation of Telangana is a major issue here, the ‘Anti-Corruption’ undercurrent can clearly be sensed here too thru the villages & urban societies.
In Maharashtra, the people are fed up with the goondaism of NCP-Congress, particularly the NCP. The Pawar family’s work-style is like a street bully, and Ajit Pawar takes pride in saying that he is a ‘Tagaa’  (“टगा” in Marathi), which is not being digested by the people of Maharashtra. Each corner of the state is experiencing the street-bully politics of NCP-Cong alliance and people are fed up with it. Pune, which is the home district of the Pawar family, has witnessing dirty politics for last two decades, from the family. Couple of years ago Pipmari-Chinchawad, which borders Pune and which has the richest Municipal corporation in the Asia, witnessed the gruesome murder of a city BJP activist by the NCP men. No arrests made & the case is simply filed with no progress. Similarly Sindhudurg district has witnessed many kidnappings & cases of permanently untraceable political activists & opponents of Congress. The Nimbalkar murder case is still pending to be processed, in which ex-home minister Padmasinh Patil is main accused. There are many more cases of the RTI activist been murdered & attacked, & the cases are not followed properly by the police, under the NCP-led home department.
There are many cases of graft pending against the ruling leaders of the Congress-NCP in the state. People are fed up of the rampant corruption in each & every department of the NCP-Congress led Govt.
The victory of the non-so-known candidate of the BJP in Khadakwasala constituency is the signal to the ruling alliance. Here too, one can sense a strong anti-congress undercurrent in the society.

The people are aware of the Govt trying to amend the RTI act to protect itself from being exposed. The people are aware of the fact that how the Govt is trying to avoid to address the issue of the black money properly. The people are aware of the fact how anti-corruption activists are beaten up through-out the country by the police & then by the Congress class of politicians. The people are aware of the fact how Govt is hell bent upon tarnishing the clean images of the likes of Anna Hajare & Baba Ramdev, who are sphere-heading the anti-corruption, anti-black money movement.

But the political pundits will not acknowledge this fact. They will go on saying that “there is no Anna effect, there is no anti-congress wave” etc. to please their political masters. The leads must be recognized. The whole world is witnessing strong anti-corruption & anti-black money protests. India is not an exception. The ruling Congress (& NCP too) should understand this. The rulers should stand firmly with the people of India. They are here to manage the country on behalf of the people. They are not ‘Rulers’. The corruption & mis-management should be done away as fast as we can. The inflation & economic mess created by the mis-management by the Govt. should be controlled as early as possible.

Otherwise the writing on the wall is beginning to come clear – The Congress (along with it’s allies), which is responsible for the mess in the country has to go, has to go for the good, and for forever. And that is the mood of the country clearly showed by today’s by-elections results. The country is really yelling out - CONGRESS, QUIT POLITIC
